Ifttt is probably one of simplest implementation of complex problems. There probably aren’t many programs that doesn’t use the if condition. When it comes to work, I probably won’t be able to do much without the if function in Excel. Would you believe our life is controlled by the condition “if”, at least 99% of it?
I will work, if you pay me well.
If you threaten my country, I will attack yours.
Sounds familiar? This is how we react in our lives. Ifttt does the same thing, to your web life. Ifttt is short for “if this then that”.
Here is one recipe (set of instructions created by others which you can customize) that I use, and probably one of the most popular among others.

IFTTT
If my profile picture changes on Facebook, change my profile picture on Twitter. (Recipe link)
This pre-made task will keep checking your Facebook profile picture every 15 minutes and if it finds that you have changed your picture, it will update the same picture on Twitter. If you want you can reverse it, or create other tasks that will update pretty much whatever you want on other social networks.
I bet most of us would hate doing the same thing on different sites and if you are anything like me, would hate it more if all the sites were not in sync.
The huge list of websites that IFTTT plays with is give up above.
